It's been awhile, hasn't it?
What's new with me?

Well....I've been writing...ALOT. In fact, I can't seem to stop. There's always a story in my head, and I know that I really should be paying more attention to my schoolwork, but I can't help but wonder where this muse of mine has come from. It's nuts, really.
Jess and I have started yet another book, and this one is going sooooo fast. It's a vampire/Fae novel, and we're having a blast writing. It's so....different from the werewolf novel. In fact, I think it's better, seeing as our writing styles have been affected (positively, I think) by the style of the other. I'm still working on the description issue, but I've gotten much better than I was. Jess is getting to be awesome at dialogue--which was always my thing. The one-liner's were my thing in the werewolf novel. In this one, we're both contributing about 50/50. It's great.
I've also been asked to Storytell for Of Blood and Emeralds, an online Vampire:the Masquerade game set in Dublin, Ireland. I was damn flattered, seeing as it's a new site and I'm currently the only storyteller. Woot!!!

I found out that I only need ONE class to graduate!!!! ONE class to get my BA degree in Sociology. *dances*. I'm so excited!!!
And Fred and I are FINALLY getting married in June!!! WOOT!
Wedding planning is a bitch and a half though, and I really don't have the patience for it. In fact, I'm thinking of letting my mom take over the whole thing and just seeing what happens on the Day. I'm not really a girlie-girl. Let the girls of the family plan it.
I've...bought the new Evanessence CD. GOOD STUFF. Definitely. Not nearly as depressing as the last CD. In fact, it's downright angry. Angry music is fun, especially when you're trying to write those angry, violent scenes.
Got a new job. No longer am I the Kids' Specialist at Books-A-Million. I now have a 9-5 working for Relm Wireless here in Melbourne. Lovin' it, let me tell you. I actually have WEEKENDS off.
It's bloody awesome.
But...the writing has really got me happy. I don't think I've created this much in a very long time, and I'm having fun with it. Just...rolling along and keeping it going. It's going to be awesome when I see how much I've written in the past two months. At least a hundred pages, between character backgrounds, novellas, and novels.

Haven't posted here in a while. I feel like such a slacker.

I realized that I game....alot. Not that that is a bad thing, but it leaves very little time for hangoutage with other people. I haven't seen a movie in freaking forever, and I really just want some downtime.

Not that I'll get it though. School has started.

I'm taking three classes this semester, and though they're all either Sociology or Women's studies, I'm having a hard time getting into them. I'm supposed to write a journal once a week about something to do with Women and Activism. I'll see if I can write it here and have my teacher link to it or something.

Started a new novel with Jess. It's gonna be cool. Not quite as disorganized as the last one, though I really want to get into the writing of it, the Werewolf novel needs to be edited and sold first. That'll be a bitch and a half, let me tell you.

Fred took off for Dragon Con this weekend. I'm kinda bummed about it. I miss him, and I can't sleep when he's not around. It sucks. Arianna came over on Friday night to keep me company and ended up staying over. That was cool. We didn't get to bed until after 3, and I got a little sleep. Saturday was cool though. I hung out with Dem and Ri and they made Exalted characters. I'm kinda feelin it since the new edition came out, and though they changed more than I thought they did--some of it not good--I'm still gonna run a game. I'm hoping someone wants to play a Solar though. So far I've got a Lunar and an Abyssal. I hope Fred had fun though. Same to you Treemonkey. Hope you guys had a blast.

Work has been rather stressful lately, as I've come to the conclusion that working at Relm is probably the worst thing that can happen to anyone unless you're Me. I've worked retail since I was 16, and I'm just happy to have a job where I can wear my headphones and shut out the word if I want to. Everyone else--save a select few--think that there is nothing worse than working there though. Suckers. They don't know how good they've got it.

So...my life has changed undramatically. Hopefully I'll get out of this funk I've been in.

This weekend has been absolutely awesome.

Firstly, we had game on Friday. Aberrant. It was MUCH fun. Many props to Fred. Great roleplaying experience, that's for damn sure. I'm so glad we had such a large game, as well. Playing table-top is alot of fun, and having such an ecclectic set of people playing together is always interesting.

Fred and I set a date last night. June 9th, 2007. Then we're gonna do a honeymoon in Vegas (wasn't that the name of a movie???) and then visit his parents in Baltimore. Other specifics will be worked out in the interim between then and now.

The only bad part of this whole weekend was the incredibly BAD sunburn I got when I went to the beach Saturday with my step-sister. I'm now not pale...but a color that reminds me of a cooked lobster. I'm THAT red.
